Q. How long has Asbestos been used in the construction industry?
A. In Britain, since the 1950s through to the 1980s. Some forms of Asbestos, (Amosite & Crocidolite) were banned from being used in 1985, and finally, (Chrysotile – apart from a small number of specialised uses) in 1999.
